Location, location, location! Beautiful weather, great beaches, awesome attractions, what more could you ask for? Southern California offers some of the best flying weather in the country. It's no wonder there is such a rich aviation history in the area. With over 350+ good flying days each year, there's more time to focus on accomplishing your flying goals and less time being grounded.
Of course, there's more to flying than just having great weather! California is a state that offers many interesting flying environments, from deserts to mountains to coastal areas. The airspace in SoCal can be regarded as some of the most challenging in the world; however this offers a great learning environment for our students. It's often said that, "if you can learn to fly in LA, you can fly anywhere in the world!"

Accomodations
If you're in need of accommodation while enrolled in our training courses, you'll find many options centrally located in the San Fernando Valley close to Van Nuys Airport. One of the best options, however, is at the Airtel Plaza Hotel, conveniently located on airport property within a few city blocks from our facility. The Airtel even has its own private ramp which means if you're flying in for training, you'll have a place to park your aircraft within walking distance to your hotel room. Transportation
Luckily we're in the big city .... so transportation is easy! If short-term transportation is what you desire, we recommend the trusted Lyft or Uber services to get you around. However, if needed, we can arrange to have a rental car for you. If you're coming from out of town and are flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you can take the convenient Van Nuys FlyAway. Buses run seven days a week on a set schedule and run between LAX and the Van Nuys Terminal which is only a few blocks from our facility. Give us a call and we'll pick you up!
